Applied Electronics & Computer Technology
The Applied Electronics and Computer Technology program at KVCC prepares students with the technical knowledge and professional skills needed for careers in the installation, maintenance, technical support, and troubleshooting of electronic equipment, wired and wireless communication systems, computers, and computer network systems.

Automotive Technology
The Automotive Technology program at EMCC provides theoretical foundations, practical education, and work experience in the engineering, testing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing of automobiles. The program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation and offers instruction in all eight areas of Automotive Repair.

Business Administration
The Business Administration program at KVCC provides a solid foundation of principles designed to prepare individuals for the business world. The program offers practical, marketable skills while also developing an understanding of business theory.

Culinary Arts
KVCC’s Culinary Arts degree is an innovative program that will include a farm-to-table focus. The two-year curriculum will include basic and advanced food preparation techniques, nutrition, menu planning, kitchen sanitation and safety, food purchasing and storage, and meal serving. The Cooking Skills certificate is designed to build a core of foundational skills that will allow the individual to enter the food service industry.

Dental Assistant
The University of Maine at Augusta’s dental assisting program is the only accredited dental assisting program in Maine, currently offered at the Bangor Campus and Lewiston Center. Attending an accredited dental assisting program allows graduates to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board Certified Dental Assisting exam immediately upon successful completion of the program.

Digital Graphic Design
EMCC’s program in Digital Graphic Design fits the ever-expanding opportunities in this rewarding field. Their associate in applied science degree in Digital Graphic Design prepares students for employment as designers who work with printed and digital media.

Early Childhood Education
Through partnerships with families, reflective practice, and evidence- based knowledge, students in KVCC’s Early Childhood Education program will graduate prepared to work with today’s children and families. Courses are offered in a variety of formats (in-person, hybrid, asynchronous online) to meet diverse student needs.

Electrical Lineworker
The Electrical Lineworker Technology program at KVCC is a one year certificate program. The program will provide students with the technical background and the manual skills necessary for careers in the installation and maintenance of electrical power, telephone, and cable television systems. Safety, pole climbing, and teamwork are emphasized throughout the program while the student learns and performs overhead and underground construction.

Emergency Medical Services
SMCC offers comprehensive training for students pursuing careers in emergency medical services. Programs include EMT and Paramedic certifications, emphasizing hands-on experience and real-world skills. With state-of-the-art facilities and expert instructors, SMCC equips graduates for immediate entry into the workforce or further advancement in healthcare fields.

Logging & Wood Products
The Mechanized Logging Operations & Forest Trucking Program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of modern timber harvesting equipment, including the most common mechanical systems and their operation. The program also covers key factors such as timber growth, tree species, and market fluctuations, all while placing a strong emphasis on safety in the field.
Maine Resource Center
The Maine Resource Center is made available to all students to ensure they have the resources they need to be successful. These resources include academic, career, financial, healthcare, housing, and various other supports, aiming to help Maine families pursue further education and fulfill their career goals.
