    The ACP provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service, including wireless services, for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

  • Efficiency Maine

    Efficiency Maine offers low-cost and no-cost energy upgrades for eligible households. Efficiency Maine also offers free heat pump water heaters, including installation, to eligible Mainers. Learn more and get detailed information about available options and program requirements.

  • Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)

    The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps low-income renters and homeowners pay for heating costs, including electric heat as well as oil, propane, natural gas, and other sources. LIHEAP is administered by the Maine State Housing Authority (MSHA) and your local Community Action Program.

  • Low-Income Assistance Program (LIAP)

    The Low-Income Assistance Program (LIAP) helps qualified low-income electricity consumers pay for electricity costs. If qualified for LIAP, you will receive credit on the bill you receive from your electric utility based on your income and electricity usage. Contact your local Community Action Program to check eligibility and apply.
