The Larrabee Leadership Fund

For more than two decades, Craig Larrabee has dedicated his leadership to building JMG into one of Maine’s most trusted and valued nonprofits, changing the lives of thousands of young people. As Craig steps away from his role as President & CEO to launch GenUS, an innovative sister nonprofit designed to take JMG’s proven practices to achieve systems-level transformation, we are honoring his vision and commitment through the creation of the Larrabee Leadership Fund.

THIS SPECIAL FUND WILL CARRY FORWARD CRAIG’S LEGACY IN TWO IMPORTANT WAYS

Ensuring the buoyancy and sustainability of JMG during a time of transition

The fund strengthens JMG’s fundraising capacity and provides stability, keeping the organization resilient and able to deliver on its mission for Maine students during a critical transition.

Fueling the bold launch of GenUS

The fund provides early investment in GenUS, supporting creative tools and strategies that extend JMG’s best-in-class model to new communities.

About Craig Larrabee

Craig joined JMG in 1993—the year the organization was founded—as a Classroom Specialist in Washington County. He advanced into leadership roles as Director of Operations (1999), Executive Vice President (2002), and was named President & CEO in 2005. During his tenure, JMG grew from serving approximately 1,500 students annually to more than 13,000 statewide each year.
