  • Academic Resources

    The Tutor Program, a unit of the University of Maine’s College Success Programs, provides tutoring for UMaine students who need academic assistance in live, lecture based 100 and 200 level courses.

  • Accessibility Services

    Services for students with disabilities are available to any enrolled University of Maine student having a self-reported disability. Documentation must follow the guidelines and will be reviewed case-by-case by a professional staff member. They are committed to accommodating students with disabilities and achieving academic success.

    The Career Center offers assistance to students as they explore their academic interests and the relationship between majors and career opportunities.

  • Title IX Student Services

    The University of Maine’s Title IX Student Services works to promote a safe community for everyone. Services are available to all free of charge. Providing support around the areas of sexual violence, relationship abuse and stalking. They can help answer questions and concerns, and offering resources and referrals on interpersonal violence.

  • Transportation Resources

    University of Maine students can access free public transportation through the Black Bear Orono Express and the Community Connector Public Transportation System. UMaine students are also eligible for a $5 discount off a round-trip ticket to Portland, Bangor, Boston, or Logan Airport when they present their college IDs.
