Students Support Services provides assistance for students with documented disabilities. These services are designed to create educational access for students with disabilities at UMPI by providing or coordinating disability accommodations, giving information about the University and available resources to students and families, and educating the campus community.

UMPI Career Readiness Office works with students, faculty, and employers to ensure that students are Career Ready. With a degree from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, the career opportunities are endless. From resume writing tips to internship opportunities to job interview skill building, they have a plan in place to help raduates land their dream job.

The University of Maine at Presque Isle offers a number of merit-based awards, scholarships, and grants. Most do not require students to show financial need. Additionally, there are scholarship opportunities, such as the Worthington Scholarship Program available regionally, that incoming students may want to explore.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. Under Title IX, discrimination on the basis of sex can include pregnancy discrimination, sexual harassment or sexual violence, such as rape, sexual assault, and sexual coercion.
