UMF offers a variety of academic resources and supports to students. All UMF students are assigned to a primary Advisor once they begin college. Some students also have a Peer Advisor, a Johnson Scholar Advisor, or a Mentor.

UMF is committed to providing both access and accommodations to students with disabilities. They provide academic and support services necessary to ensure that students with disabilities have both the physical and programmatic access they need to enjoy a full campus life. Any UMF student with a physical, hearing, visual, medical, emotional, or learning disability is eligible for services.

UMF Career Services is here to help you with all-things career and graduate school. They can help you in the job search, with resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and graduate school planning applications. UMF Career Services’ mission is to help students make decisions about what to do with their time at UMF and prepare them for their time after they graduate.

Mental Health and Counseling Services at UMF is committed to serving our students and community as well as those beyond UMF with safety and public health at the forefront of our planning. Their mission is to provide a supportive, confidential setting for students to address problems affecting their academic, social, employment, or personal goals.

Nearly all full-time undergraduate degree-seeking Farmington students receive some form of financial assistance: grants, merit scholarships, federal and state financial aid, loans, UMF scholarships, private scholarships, student employment and more.
