NMCC Resources

  • Academic Resources

The Academic Resource Center includes the E. Perrin Edmunds Library and the Academic Success Center. ARC staff provide free peer tutoring, writing reviews, instruction in resource use and information literacy. Assistance is available in-person or remotely. Events and workshops are offered to build academic skills and provide learning opportunities outside of classes.

  • Accessibility Resources

Facilities at NMCC are designed to be accessible by persons with disabilities. The college is committed to providing, whenever possible, equal opportunities to all students, including assessment of and modifications to facilities and programs to accommodate individual needs.

  • Career Resources

Career planning and placement assistance is available from several sources at NMCC. The staff in student services, as well as individual instructors, are willing to help graduates find jobs in their field. Because of their job market knowledge and employer contacts, instructors are often excellent sources of assistance.

  • Counseling Services

Counseling services are offered to students through the Student Services Office. Services available include: academic counseling, personal counseling, student advocacy, coordination of related support services, and referrals to other service providers.

  • Scholarships

Scholarships are not required to be repaid. Eligibility may be based on a variety of factors. The NMCC Foundation provides over $100,000 annually to support students. To learn more about eligibility and available scholarships, click the link below.
