HOW IT WORKS

Take the ASVAB
A skills assessment (not just military — it measures your aptitude across science, math, mechanical, and verbal areas) that helps match you to the right career path.

Complete Basic Training and AIT
About 10 weeks of Basic, then specialized job training (length varies by specialty). This is where you earn your credentials.

Choose your job specialty
Pick from available MOS roles that match your interests. You sign for a specific job — not a blank check — before you commit.

Return to Maine and serve locally
One weekend a month, two weeks a year. Apply for your free college tuition. Start your civilian career — with Guard experience already on your resume.
